John Eff Kennedy (”Jay Eff Kay”) is the former Wall Street professional and everyman who saw through the smoke-screen and just went AWOL one day. He is the voice inside your head urging you to just say “fuck it” before you hang yourself with the engine belt off your Acura in your suburban garage, or come in to the office one morning spraying bullets Colin Ferguson-style.
Now he raps about the failure of the American dream, masterfully crafting the lyrics of outrage, desperation, and threesomes with Starbucks Baristas which are his trademark, then recording them in his 6×8 ft bathroom. In February, he released “2005: Year in Review” - a collection of every song he created that year - and is currently working on his full-length debut. Jay Eff also maintains a blog where he spews conspiracy theories on a daily basis.
